Question #1:

Can you help me find the partial pressure of two gasses (O2&He) in a tank, or check the answers i got? Im lost?

I got Partial pressure of O2= 12.96 atm
And He= 3.425 atm ....Is it right?

This is the question..
Any help would be appreciated, I m just really unsure

Mixtures of helium and oxygen are used in scuba diving tanks to help prevent the
bends, which is a condition caused by nitrogen bubbles forming in the bloodstream. If
95 L of oxygen and 25 L of helium at STP are pumped into a scuba tank with a volume
of 8.0 L, what is the partial pressure of each gas in the tank and what is the total
pressure in the tank at 25 deg C?

Question #2:

What is a good subject for an animal behavior research project?

I am a Southern Californian college student, taking a behavioral ecology course this semester. As a part of the course, we will be conducting a research project where we observe, analyze, and report on animal behavior in the wild or captivity. This should be a fun project, but I am having trouble coming up with a cool animal to observe. I was wondering if anyone knows an animal with any particularly interesting behavior(s) that I could formulate a report on. I am open to anything from insects to large mammals, as long as I will be able to realistically observe it more than once. I appreciate any input or suggestions! P.S. I live near the ocean so marine mammals/arthropods or whatever are not off-limits, but I don't want to have to go scuba diving, so ideally only critters that reside near the shore. P.P.S. Dogs/cats/hamsters and the like are not off limits either, but I would prefer to look at something less obvious. Thanks for any help guys!

Question #3:

Is he too mature for me ?

My bf of 6 months is too mature for me . I know he's prob what people view as the perfect guy but I'm not having any fun . Some background info ... he is an engineer , he works out , he is 22 years old , He is a really caring and sweet guy but all he does is work and when he works he leaves the country for 3 months at a time . He saved enough so far and started building his own home , he has a car and a motorcycle . He does not drink ( not even one drink ) when we go out , he has never been to a club and doesn't want to go to one ( i love clubbing with my friends ) , he doesn't want to have sex till marriage which is good , he always talks about news, politics , weather and whatnot ...stuff i hate talking about , when we are home is when we spend the most time together but even then he does work type stuff in his office . The type of fun he's into is rock climbing on weekends , cycling on sunday mornings , scuba diving etc . i hate that sorta thing , I rather go clubbing and be with friends , go see a movie and whatnot . He is faithful and is extremely cute / fit but boring . I asked his friends what he was like when he was younger and they said he was the mysterious , quiet guy in college and high school , only studying and not socializing with anyone .
Should i stay with him although im not having any fun ?

I Have A Few Myrtle Beach Questions?

Hi, this summer me and my parents are going on a vacation. We would like to go to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. My parents have been there 14 years ago on their honeymoon and loved it and since im 13 now, they want to take me this year. My questions begin with, Is it best to fly or to drive down?(we live in northeastern Pennsylvania) my next question is, what are some great hotels that are close to the beach or are even beach front?(we want it kinda close to the boardwalk but not SO close because we don't want it to be really noisy and busy, like no more than 4 blocks close.) also it cant be an outrageous price. My next question is how many days is good to stay down there we were planning about 7 days? (if we drive down, we will extend it 2 days). The next question is, what are some good activities to do down there that are good for me and my parents, and do they have any like SCUBA diving things down there that you can do even if you arent certified? Another question is, what are some good and money friendly resturants down there? (yumm).Almost done, what is the best time to go?(temp wise and money wise) ANd my last and final question is, is Myrtle Beach SC a good vacation spot? Sorry that there are so many questions! :3 But please awnser what you can. Thank you so much to anyone that can help!!(:

Question #12:

General Costs for an Offshore Dive Trip?

I'm interested in my first offshore dive trip. I've got more than 20hrs experience underwater in fresh and salt but never offshore. I've spoken to my local scuba shop and they offer a 2 night, 3 day trip for $570. The trip intells a day of travel and 2 of diving.
I live on the Texas coast by the way.
Basically I'm asking if this is a reasonable price for this type of trip. I'm a poor college student trying to get some experience in the field I hope to make a career very soon.
Any other related comments would be appreciated.
To make it clear, the $570 covers just about everything on the trip. The boat trip itself, nitrox, and food.

Question #14:

Photoshop Project Ideas Needed!?

For my digital art class, I need to photoshop myself into a picture along with one other item. Do you have any suggestions for me as to what the scene should be? I can't do anything fancy, just put myself into the picture. I would love to be able to something related to Harry Potter or Star Trek, but I can't find any good pictures. Points if you find a good pic to use and include the URL! It doesn't have to be Harry Potter or Star Trek though. Some creative ideas are all that I need. I just don't want to do something boring and simple like scuba diving or bungee jumping. Also, it needs to be school appropriate. Thanks! Btw I'm a girl if that makes a difference.

I wanna go down to the bottom of the lake and look for stuff people have dropped cause i know theres stuff down there, people lose stuff all the time off boats and stuff.
